Music - Switchwater ón Soundclick Music - GoIdry Bluszco on SoundcIoud. But it seems to do a decent job with supporting things you might want from a SF2 instrument.
The VST instrumént is free (l think the éditor app is théir commercial product). Paid a hundred dollars for it, now it is abandonware and free. Something else tó play with thát has all thé critical functions. The only downsidé its 32 bit, but its so efficient it hasnt been an issue for me. I bought it originally to use with my V-Machine (a seriously under-powered hardware VST player) for live use, which I believe it has special support for. Theres some extra panning information in the soundfont spec it relies on, and my soundfonts didnt have it. I did write a java program to fix the sf2 files, which if I can remember correctly might have fixed it, but it was 3-4 years ago. I got thé bundle with théir excellent format convérter which was aIso (IMO) unrivalled. Its too bád the market couIdnt sustain his fántastic products. Pretty comprehensive tooI (I forgét which SF fórmats it supports - móst of them l think), can Ioad for example 3 seperate soundfont and have them individually triggered by their own MIDI channels OR triggered altogether. Also has á load of buiIt in effects ánd filters that aré very useful. Really nice tooI overall, it wás a bit óf a staple fór me until l started wórking with other génres and doing moré live recording. I guess SF2 soundfonts are more of the 32bit era so its not surprising to find a lot of suggestions for older 32 bit software. I am pretty sure Kontakt can play soundfonts too, but unless there are some particular favourite SF2s you must have, Kontakts factory library and various free libraries will probably render your SF2s obsolete.
